Lexmark is an American Corporation with its headquarters in Kentucky, USA. The company was formed in 1991 when IBM divested their interests in the printer business. Their main business today includes developing and manufacturing laser and inkjet printers, printing and imaging products, printing supplies, multifunction products, scanners, dot matrix printers and 3rd party printer products for other companies such as Dell and IBM. Lexmark was the first to company to introduce wifi inkjet printers and web enabled touch screen interfaces in 2009. They were also the first company to introduce a laser printer for under $100. Today Lexmark is a powerhouse in the printer business with over 13,000 employees worldwide, and more than $4.2 trillion in revenue in 2010. |
